Midtown waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Creekside Seminoles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Midtown's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six contests.

Midtown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Creekside, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midtown will take on Pace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creekside, they will square off against M.L. King at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Creekside will be up against M.L. King's rather soft defense (which has allowed 11.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
