Unity had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Cumberland Beavers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Unity not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cumberland between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up 18 kills. Erickson got some help from Ella Johnson and her 19 assists. Erickson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Unity's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Cumberland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Coming up, Unity will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Glenwood City at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cumberland has already played their next contest (against Stanley-Boyd), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
