Baseball Game Preview: Biggsville West Central Heat vs. Sherrard Tigers

The Biggsville West Central Heat are taking a road trip to square off against the Sherrard Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Biggsville West Central will be strutting in after a win while Sherrard will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Biggsville West Central needed a bit of extra time to put away West Prairie. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Cyclones.

The team relied heavily on Jeremy Ford, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Hayden Eisnnicher was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Sherrard came up short against Rock Island on Wednesday and fell 10-6. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
