Football Recap: South Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Park fell victim to Simla and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 64-0 loss at the hands of the Cubs. The Burros just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Kyle Basnett threw for 58 yards on six of 20 attempts. Michael Valenzuela was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards.

Simla found their leader in sophomore Ethan Kissam, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of TDs. Kissam showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards. Connor Maranville got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

South Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Simla, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

South Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Simla, they will challenge Norwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cubs will need to watch out since the Mavericks have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
