Volleyball Recap: Sprayberry Gets the Win

Sprayberry hadn't done well against Lassiter recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Yellow Jackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Arianna Luckett paced Sprayberry's offense, picking up 16 kills. Luckett got some help from London Willis and her 15 assists. Caleigh Jones-Baugh controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sprayberry now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lassiter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sprayberry will face off against Therrell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lassiter, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on the 14th.
