Dimond is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who was ranked 16th at the time (Dimond was ranked second). Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Dimond has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6 aces per game. However, it's not like Service struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Dimond took their victory against Service in their previous meeting last Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Lynx have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
