Baseball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 26-1 to the Shawnee Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 last Monday.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Shawnee, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Memorial is taking a road trip to take on Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shawnee, they will face off against Noble at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
