Luke Eyink Game Report: vs Edgewood

Franklin had to settle for second on Wednesday, but Luke Eyink sure wasn't going down easily. Eyink didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. The performance also marked the fewest earned runs (zero) he has had since April 1st.

Even though Eyink couldn't lead Franklin over Edgewood, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats haven't beaten the Cougars recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2024.
