Basketball Recap: Bishop Seabury Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Bishop Seabury Academy hadn't done well against Bishop Ward recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Bishop Ward Cyclones. The win was nothing new for the Seahawks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bishop Seabury Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Honarvar, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, 17 rebounds, and 13 blocks. That's the most blocks Honarvar has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marion Stubbs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards.

Bishop Seabury Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Bishop Ward, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Bishop Seabury Academy will host Northland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Ward, they will challenge Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
