After flying high against Monticello last Friday, Wonewoc-Center/Weston came back down to earth. Wonewoc-Center/Weston fell 32-26 to the Belmont Braves on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Wonewoc-Center/Weston in their meetings with Belmont: they've now lost seven in a row.

Wonewoc-Center/Weston's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Belmont, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Wonewoc-Center/Weston will challenge Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belmont, they will head out to challenge North Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
