Florence had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats. Considering the Gophers have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Florence is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five contests. As for San Tan Foothills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
