Softball Recap: Rosamond Comes Up Short

Rosamond fell victim to Garces Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Rams. The defeat continues a trend for the Roadrunners in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Rosamond saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Castro, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Castro hit this season.

Rosamond's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Garces Memorial, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will face off against Foothill at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Rosamond is facing Foothill at the right time seeing as Foothill is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Garces Memorial, they will challenge Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
