Baseball Recap: Central Noble Comes Up Short

Central Noble lost against Churubusco on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Noble's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Churubusco, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Noble will square off against Fort Wayne South Side at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Churubusco, they will face off against Woodlan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
