Basketball Recap: Sunbright Takes a Loss

Sunbright was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 61-51 to the Harriman Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, with their most recent defeat being a 56-45 loss back in December of 2024.

Sunbright's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Harriman, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Sunbright does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harriman, they will challenge Jellico on Tuesday. Jellico knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Harriman likes a good challenge.
