Preview: Heritage Hall Christian Patriots vs. Mooresville Christian Eagles
Heritage Hall Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Mooresville Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-34, which was the final score in Heritage Hall Christian's tilt against Legacy Elite Academy last Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Mooresville Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Calvary Christian by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
The losing side was boosted by Gresh Warren, who scored 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Craney, who scored ten points.
Heritage Hall Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Mooresville Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.
Heritage Hall Christian was dealt a bruising 59-21 loss at the hands of Mooresville Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Heritage Hall Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
