Soccer Game Preview: McGavock vs. Gallatin

The McGavock Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Gallatin Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

McGavock is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Northeast on Thursday. McGavock and Northeast finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Gallatin made sure to put some goals up on the board against Portland on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Panthers. Gallatin haven't had any issues with Portland recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Gallatin's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. McGavock's draw makes their record 4-3-1 this season.

McGavock came out on top in a nail-biter against Gallatin when the teams last played back in April of 2021, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for McGavock since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
