Softball Preview: South Gwinnett Comets vs. Archer Tigers
South Gwinnett is 0-10 against Archer since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. On Monday, South Gwinnett didn't have quite enough to beat Rockdale County and fell 13-12.
Dayana Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Surai Williams was another key contributor, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and a triple.
Even though they lost, South Gwinnett didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with ten strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockdale County only tossed five.
