Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton blew Morrisville-Eaton out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Morrisville-Eaton got their revenge. The Comets fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 6-4. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Clinton dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Morrisville-Eaton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Clinton has already played their next matchup (against Frankfort-Schuyler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Morrisville-Eaton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Cooperstown on the 15th.
