Volleyball Recap: Kelvyn Park Triumphs

After losing to Clemente the last time they met, Kelvyn Park decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats on Monday.

Kelvyn Park easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Javier Vazquez paced Kelvyn Park's offense, picking up seven kills. Vazquez got some help from Gerardo Martinez and his six assists.

Kelvyn Park's victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2. As for Clemente, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Kelvyn Park will welcome Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clemente, they will take on Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
