Soccer Recap: Honaker Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Honaker was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Abingdon Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Honaker of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Honaker's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Abingdon, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Honaker has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Lebanon on the 25th. As for Abingdon, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Blacksburg on the 25th.
