Baseball Recap: Wheeler Bearcats vs. Westville Blackhawks
Wheeler had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 9-14 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Westville Blackhawks. The Bearcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 16-4).

Caleb McLaughlin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Wheeler is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-13 otherwise.
