Basketball Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss

Clarksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-26 loss at the hands of the Middleton Tigers. The matchup marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

It was another big night for Tamarcus Smith, who went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points for Middleton. Keneth Williams was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Clarksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Middleton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksburg will square off against Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksburg is facing Halls at the right time seeing as Halls is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Middleton, they will take on Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
