Baseball Recap: Lehman Catholic Triumphs

While Lehman Catholic's win against Catholic Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Irish on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2015.

Lehman Catholic now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Catholic Central, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lehman Catholic will host Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Catholic Central, they will welcome Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
