Softball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-3 to the Plano East Panthers.

Madelyn Kerrigan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Plano East, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rock Hill and Plano East will both be playing Plano the next time they take the field. Plano East will head out to face Plano at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Rock Hill will host them at 7:15 p.m. on March 18th.
