Palm Harbor University had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tarpon Springs Spongers. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spongers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Palm Harbor University took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-14, 25-9.

Savannah Fleischhauer paced Palm Harbor University's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fleischhauer got some help from Amaya Reyes and her 22 assists. Reyes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Palm Harbor University's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Tarpon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Palm Harbor University does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tarpon Springs, they will challenge Dunedin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
