Foxcroft Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Piscataquis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Ponies will venture away from home to challenge the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. Piscataquis took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Foxcroft Academy, who comes in off a win.

While Ponies fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. Everything went their way against Mount View on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-8 victory. The Ponies not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024 (when they won 14-3).

Meanwhile, Piscataquis unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-1 to Dexter on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Foxcroft Academy beat Piscataquis 5-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ponies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
