Basketball Recap: Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hankinson, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood was happy to have turned things around on Monday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 win over the Wilmot Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warbirds also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

The victory got Wyndmere/Lidgerwood back to even at 1-1. As for Wilmot, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood will take on Maple River in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wilmot, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northwestern Area at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
