There's no place like home for Big Spring, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the East Pennsboro Panthers by a score of 31-21 on Friday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 24-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Big Spring to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Myers, who rushed for 134 yards and a pair of scores. Another receiver making a difference was Ayden Martinez, who picked up 118 receiving yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Big Spring was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. They are 5-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

East Pennsboro's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nasiere Ingram, who picked up 127 receiving yards and one touchdown. Ingram's longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Shank, who rushed for 128 yards.

With the win, Big Spring broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-4. As for East Pennsboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Big Spring will head out on the road to face off against Bermudian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. East Pennsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
