Football Recap: Whitwell Comes Up Short

Whitwell fell victim to South Pittsburg and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Pirates and fell 49-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Whitwell's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for South Pittsburg, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

As of now, neither Whitwell nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
