Baseball Recap: Berry Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Myers Park, Berry was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Olympic Trojans 12-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-2 on Tuesday.

Eddy Berihuete was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Berry: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 6-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Justin Williams, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Berry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They are 7-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Berry's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12. As for Olympic, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.
