If The Richland Bombers were riding high off their 49-0 takedown of the Walla Walla Blue Devils last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Richland fell 42-35 to Kamiakin on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Richland in their matchups with Kamiakin: they've now lost five in a row.

Joshua Woodard and Colson Mackey certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Woodard threw for 384 yards and five touchdowns, while Mackey picked up 156 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Woodard is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Richland will square off against Mountain View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Richland likes a good challenge.
