Volleyball Recap: West Carroll Takes a Loss

West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the River Ridge Wildcats. The Thunder were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10.

AVA KETELSEN was a one-woman wrecking crew For River Ridge. as she had 15 kills, nine digs, three aces, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of ELLIE RIFE, who had 22 assists and two aces.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for River Ridge, they pushed their record up to 7-17-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Carroll is set to face off against their familiar foe Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, River Ridge will challenge rival East Dubuque at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
