Soccer Recap: Susquenita Comes Up Short

Susquenita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Juniata Tigers. Susquenita were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced East Juniata earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Eric Rice wasn't going to let East Juniata walk away unscathed as he scored both of Susquenita's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Susquenita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for East Juniata, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-13.

Susquenita didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy on the 11th. East Juniata does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
