Davenport came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Waterville Shockers 59-32. That's more bragging rights for the Gorillas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Davenport's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.2 points per game. As for Waterville, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2.

Davenport will venture away from home to face off against Northwest Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Christian School will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Davenport surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waterville, they will square off against Pateros at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
