Volleyball Game Preview: L.E.A.D. Academy Lions vs. Community Christian Chargers

The L.E.A.D. Academy Lions will take on the Community Christian Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

L.E.A.D. Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over FAMU DRS. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

If Munroe wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Community Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Sarah-Kate Liddell. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats last Tuesday thanks in part to Liddell, who had 23 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-19, 25-6.

L.E.A.D. Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Community Christian, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.
