Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Spanish Fork had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-7 win over Hunter. That looming 42-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dons yet this season.

Springville better keep an eye on Nixon Warren. He was instrumental in Spanish Fork's win, rushing for 57 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 234 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Warren a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Another player making a difference was Gage Christensen, who picked up 55 receiving yards and one score.

Springville's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Spanish Fork, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
