The International Gryphons will head out on the road to face off against the Purdue Polytechnic Techies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Monday, International didn't have quite enough to beat Bethesda Christian and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Gryphons in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost five in a row.
International took Bethesda Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 16-25, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Purdue Polytechnic can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks as Purdue Polytechnic made off with a 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-21.
International's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Purdue Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
