 Padua Franciscan can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Brookside Cardinals with a sharp  12-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Padua Franciscan.
  Alex Camarati was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Camarati was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Padua Franciscan got a  massive  performance out of  Samantha Ezzie, who  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Maya Stavnicky, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3.
 On Brookside's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aryanna Rivera, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Even though they lost, Brookside  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've managed all season.
 Padua Franciscan is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season. As for Brookside, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Padua Franciscan will take on Lake Catholic at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Padua Franciscan is facing Lake Catholic at the right time seeing as Lake Catholic is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Brookside, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Firelands at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Brookside has given up an average of 10.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
