Two dominant signal callers in Brayden Jennings and Crawford Moffitt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Brentwood Christian Bears will be playing at home against the Hyde Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Brentwood Christian will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against Bishop Dunne on Friday. The Bears simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Falcons 41-6. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 31 points or more this season.
Among those leading the charge was Gabe Washington, who picked up 71 receiving yards, and also punched in one TD on the ground. He didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Meanwhile, Hyde Park entered their tilt with Grace Community on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 28-20.
Hyde Park's win came from a few key players Brentwood Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hudson Hart, who picked up 72 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two). Brenden Bartholomew was another key player, gaining 134 total yards.
Hyde Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Brentwood Christian, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-4.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Brentwood Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 162.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Hyde Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging 196.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
