Soccer Game Preview: South Columbus vs. East Bladen

South Columbus hasn't had much luck against East Bladen recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Stallions will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. South Columbus will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

South Columbus is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let West Columbus get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Tuesday. South Columbus have beaten West Columbus the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest West Columbus has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, East Bladen was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to Heide Trask. East Bladen haven't had much luck with Heide Trask recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Bladen fell to 6-1-1. As for South Columbus, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

South Columbus suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to East Bladen in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Stallions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
