Volleyball Recap: Heidelberg Takes a Loss

If Heidelberg was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Kemper County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oilers lost 3-0 to the Enterprise Bulldogs on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Heidelberg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Enterprise, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heidelberg will host Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enterprise, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mize at 6:00 p.m. Enterprise is facing Mize at the right time seeing as Mize is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
