Basketball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Weyauwega-Fremont was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds by a score of 44-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-43 back in December of 2024.

Weyauwega-Fremont now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Iola-Scandinavia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Weyauwega-Fremont has already played their next matchup, a 69-44 defeat against Lourdes on the 3rd. As for Iola-Scandinavia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-35 win against Northland Lutheran on the 4th.
