The Rootstown Rovers lost to the Garfield G-Men back in December of 2022, but the Rootstown Rovers didn't allow the Garfield G-Men the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Everything went Rootstown's way against Garfield as Rootstown made off with a 58-36 victory.
When it comes to explaining why Garfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eric Geddes. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
The victory got Rootstown back to even at 1-1. As for Garfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Rootstown will head out on the road to face off against Barberton at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Garfield, they will be playing at home against Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waterloo and Garfield are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
