Softball Recap: McKenzie Takes a Loss

McKenzie lost against Houston County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rebels fell 8-3 to the Fighting Irish. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKenzie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aurora Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that Johnson launched this season.

McKenzie now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Houston County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKenzie will take on South Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Houston County, they will challenge Hickman County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
