Basketball Recap: Alma Comes Up Short

Alma lost against Siloam Springs back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Alma Airedales were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Siloam Springs Panthers. The Airedales' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Alma's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Siloam Springs, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alma will take on Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alma is facing Russellville at the right time seeing as Russellville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Siloam Springs, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Siloam Springs Panthers take on the Farmington Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
