After a string of four wins, Cambridge's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Lancers.

Jill Thompson paced Cambridge's offense, picking up three kills. Thompson were helped by Addison Jerman and Cally Travis, who contributed three assists each. Tara Bettenhausen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Joseph was led to victory by Lauren Garcia and Lilli Baez. Garcia had three digs and three aces, while Baez had 15 digs. That's the most digs Baez has posted over her last six contests.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for St. Joseph, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Cambridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Marshall on the 16th. As for St. Joseph, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Valders on the 13th.
