MaxPreps Small Schools National High School Football Rankings

Madison Academy of Alabama takes over top spot.
Madison Academy (Ala.) takes over as the No. 1 team in the MaxPreps Small Schools National Football Rankings at the close of the first full month of the high school season.
Madison is 5-0 on the season and has a win over another ranked team on the list, No. 23 Lauderdale County (Rogersville, Ala.). Preseason No. 1 East Bernard drops to No. 3, although it has looked strong with a 4-0 record. Trinity Christian (Jacksonville), which began the season at No. 8, moves up to No. 2 with a 4-0 mark.
Texas still has the most teams in the Top 25 with four. Florida and Oklahoma each have three teams. Rankings are based on the
MaxPreps computer rankings.
