Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Hamilton was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Redding Christian Lions and fell 45-9. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 751st, while the Lions are ranked 276th).

Case Porter was Hamilton's leading scorer, having posted four points. Kayden Strong held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Hamilton and nudges their season record down to 6-6. As for Redding Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-41 win against Quincy on the 10th. As for Redding Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-38 victory against Corning on the 10th.
