It's playoff time, and Eads had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Briggsdale Falcons by a score of 40-27 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.

Eads' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna Wollert led the charge by shooting 42% from the field to rack up 12 points along with eight rebounds and six blocks. The dominant performance gave Wollert a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Tailee Weeks-Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

When it comes to explaining why Briggsdale lost, don't look at Kayl Klem. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. Klem is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 26 games she's played dating back to last season. Claire Brown was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Eads' win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Briggsdale, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-7 record.

Eads has already played their next match, a 40-36 defeat against Idalia on the 14th. As for Briggsdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-50 loss against Evangel Christian Academy on the 14th.
