Basketball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson lost to Bulls College Prep back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pumas were dealt a 62-34 loss at the hands of the Bulls. The Pumas' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Several Pumas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was De'Zeriya Leary, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ziyah Smith, who earned ten points.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bulls College Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bulls College Prep, they will face off against Comer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
